今天，就来说说各种“请假”的英语说法~

01Ask for leave

这里的leave不是离开的意思

而是有“休假”的含义

所以ask for leave就是请假的意思

如果想要请几天假的话

可以在for后面加上请假的天数

比如说ask for 2 days' leave 

请两天的假

例句：

I have to ask for leave the day after tomorrow. 

我后天得请假。

02Take off

take off有起飞的意思

但是想要请假的话

也可以用take off来表示哦

例句：

Mr.Taylor, my mom's here visiting me and I'd like to take two days off to show her around the city.

泰勒先生，我妈妈要来看我，所以我想请两天假，带她到处转转。

I’d like to take two days off.

我想请2天假。

03Call in sick

因为生病身体不舒服想要请病假的话

就可以用Call in sick来表示

意思是“打电话请假”

例句：

I don't feel well this morning. Perhaps I ought to call in sick.

我今天早上感觉不太舒服，或许我该打电话请个假了。

04Pull a sickie

Pull a sickie和call in sick

含义可完全不一样

call in sick是真的因为身体不舒服请假

而Pull a sickie就不一样了

虽然Sickie在俚语里指“病假”

但是这个短语就是没病装病的意思

例句：

He took/pulled/threw a sickie to go to the football game.

他装病请假看球去了。

公司除了可以请假

还有很多例如年假、事假等
