BIBS was introduced to Kunming by Kunming City Government in 2016 as the first international school in town. The 40-acres
campus is located in Chenggong District with dancing room, music hall, art studio, modern library, science lab, standard
football field with running tracks and cafeteria.
The school has nearly 400 students and 100 teachers, in which 70% are from overseas. Staff-student ratio is 1:3. Kunming
Campus is a candidate school for IB PYP, IB MYP and IB DP certification.
